Legal SeaFood (Framingham) – Cajun Seared Tuna

Once Winnie knew that I am going to Boston for my business trip, she started to tell me that there is a very famous seafood restaurant in Boston that I should try, especially their Lobster.  So I went there to try it out…

Cuvee Restaurant (San Diego) – Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna

Rating: 3 out of 5

Curvee restaurant is around Del Mar / San Diego area, where I haven’t been yet (of course I found it through Google Map). In its menu…

Sesame Seared Ahi Tuna, Braised Bok Choy and Mushrooms $25

The restaurant is in the middle of a residential area, which is quite easy to miss. There aren’t too many parking. If the lot is full, then you have park on the road. Luckily I found a spot (my lucky day)! I have ordered my seared tuna. One interesting fact is that it is classified as “Large Plate” in the dinner menu. Price is pretty reasonable given that Del Mar is a more expensive area to live in compared to the area where I used to be (Rancho Bernardo). Here it comes…

The Brig Seafood And Steak (San Diego) – Seared Yellowfin Tuna

Rating: 3.5 stars out of 5

I have been searching for another restaurant to try out seared tuna in San Diego, and I finally I found this: The Brig. Since it is a seafood restaurant and the web site looks very nice (they have different chains of restaurants), I have set my expectation quite high…

I have ordered a clam chowder soup, a drink and of course the Yellowfin Tuna Steak. It came to about $40 tips included, which is one of the most expensive compared to other places around this area that I have been. The soup is so-so. Now here comes the main dish!…

Barrel Room Wine Bar and Bistro (San Diego) – Seared Tuna

Rating: 3 stars out of 5

I haven’t been trying too many places in San Diego, so I decided to look for a place to eat by Google map. Of course, I am looking for “Seared Tuna” and I found this: Barrel Room. It doesn’t have a web site, but there is a review which mentioned that they have Seared Tuna. So here I go…

I ordered a Seared Tuna as an entree, it comes with vegetables and I have ordered a french fries as a side (just in case if the seared tuna itself is not enough). It is not expensive at all, as it all came to about $25 tips included.

Oliver & Bonacini Cafe and Grill – Sesame Seared Yellowfin Tuna

Rating: 3 out of 5

I have never been to this restaurant and a friend of mine (Freeman) has strongly recommended me to try the Seared Tuna here (he knows that I love Seared Tuna). He made a comment like, “This is the place where it makes me love the Seared Tuna plate. I had seared Tuna the first time there.” I have also heard a lot of good comments from others about the chain as a whole.

Ruth’s Chris Steak House (Toronto) – Seared Tuna

Rating: 4 stars out of 5

I went to Ruth’s Chris Steak House about a month ago, and as usual I ordered the Seared Tuna entree.

The tuna steak is pretty standard: seared outside without sesame, completely raw inside (actually I have read the menu, it is quite funny, it makes note that eating things raw maybe hazardous to health HAHAHA), mustard and wasabi sauce.
