Is it a good time to find the right spot to enter the wireless market?

Code to activate local Java install on Samsung U600

I recently bought a Samsung U600 and here is what you need to do if you want to install java application on samsung u600.

(extract from howardforums)

*#9998*4678255# indeed activates Java Install, but there’s no menu. Turning off the phone will deactivate it I think…you will need to re-enter the code.

  • That amounts to roughly 1 percent of the company, which employed 355,000 people at the beginning of the year.

First Step towards Kids Back-To-Their-Room…

Yesterday after dinner when I got home, I found that the furniture in my room getting completely rearranged. Originally, the kids’ beds are placed side by side with our bed (Brandon’s on the right and Rachel’s on the left). Last night, their beds are completely separated from ours (but of course they are still in my room)… I am kind of not used to that setting… maybe separation anxiety?? probably :P

Brandon named Ocean Park as …

When we talked about our HK trip at the beginning of the year, Brandon’s most memorable thing about the trip is the Buss Lightyear ride in Disneyland HK  :)

Anyways, he also mentioned about the Ocean Park (another theme park in HK), but he pronounced it as “可能公園”…  instead of “海洋公園”.  Sooooo funny…..  :)

WCS Security: Cross-site Scripting Protection

Basically this functionality is to reject all the requests that contain specific character sequences (for example, people can put in “<script …” in a description field) . Here is a link to WebSphere Commerce Info Center about Cross-site Scripting Protection.

You can also manipulate the xml section displayed below in the instance xml: (by default, the enabled attribute is false, so change it to true).  The following is a sample XML fragment:

WCS Master Catalog Restriction (Product-Category Relation / Category-Category Relation)

For WebSphere Commerce Master Catalog data model (logical model), each product can belong to one and only one parent category. Moreover, each category can belong to one and only one parent category. Basically the model is a tree.

In the database model (physical model), there really have no such limitation / restriction.

Brandon’s Mathematic Challenge :)

So during dinner tonight, Brandon asked me, “what is 9 + 9?” and I answered “18″. and he kept asking me calculation questions, until finally he asked me, “what is nothing plus nothing?” i thought about it for a while, and then i said….

“2 nothing’s” He paused and think and think… (since i think what his answer in his mind is “nothing”… but then he also find my answer make sense since there are 2 “nothing”s… so he is confused…)

HAHAHA and his mom joined in and asked him, “so Brandon, which one is bigger, 3 nothings or 2 nothings?” HAHAHA… and he jumped right in and said with confidence, “3 nothings of course” HAHAHAHA….

and Winnie and Grandma kept trying to tell him that they are equal but i guess he really doesn’t understand. But of course he is only 4 years old!
