As I have mentioned in my last post, I was very sick over last weekend.  I wasn’t able to eat much and that night at around 1am, I felt very hungry and therefore I went to the kitchen to get some bread to eat.   Grandpa came out slowly from his room.

On our 6th Anniversary day, EVERYBODY IN THE FAMILY IS SICK!!!!!  It is crazy!

Yesterday we went to Ontario Science Center.  We decided to get a locker and put our jackets in there.  Of course, we need to remember the locker number and we left this important task to:  BRANDY!

After walking for about 15 minutes, I asked Brandy, “What is our locker number?”

He answered, “Hm…  4526.”

I said, “Yes you are right.”  (and I was thinking, “wow, pretty good kid, but I won’t let you off that easily…  hahahaha….”)

These days we have been playing this game Super Smash Bros on Wii a lot.  As usual Brandy enjoys this game a lot, and surprisingly even Rachel seems to like the game (Rachel is not a gamer).   But definitely the game has changed Brandy’s life…

I was talking with Brandy this morning. We were discussing where should we go for dinner tonight. Then Winnie suggested Korean BBQ (韓燒). Brandy asked us what is Korean BBQ and of course we asked him to try to interpret…

He guessed, “Oh it must be… hm… we cook(~燒), we sweat (汗)…” he continued to scratch his head and we laughed… HAHAHA…

When I was having lunch with the kids yesterday, Winnie has ordered a lemon coke (檸樂).  The kids don’t know what it is and asked.  They managed to guess the lemon part and they are not able to figure out the second word.

So I asked them, what is coke in Cantonese?  (and I told them if they can’t remember they are not going to drink coke again… hahaha)  But  they thought and thought and they don’t remember!  Oh no!!!

Over the past 3 months, I keep getting spam comments.  Of course no one sees them since I have comment moderation on.  But it is still tedious to delete all the spam comments.  So I decided to see if I can get a WordPress plugin that allows CAPTCHA protection, and I’ve found reCAPTCHA plugin!

Remember a while back I was writing about the CAPTCHA string?  (the “eye-test” when you submit online forms)  Spammers finally hack through some of the most common site’s CAPTCHA protection!

We never let Brandy to have sushi.  We do not want him to take raw fish yet since there are more bacteria.  Even those sushi / roll with only cooked ingredient, we do not allow him to take because it may be in contact with raw food (i.e. the knife)…
